When Spice & Story debuted in August, you came for the food, art, games, and culture, and watched Kampong Kopi, USA, our original 20-minute play. Some of you laughed. Some of you cried. Many of you saw pieces of your own lives reflected onstage.

This fall, Kampong Kopi, USA returns — paired with Southeast Asian diaspora films and followed by conversations with the creators, cast, and community.
Come experience Southeast Asian stories on stage and screen, and gather with us again. Then stay tuned for a special season finale, when Kampong Kopi, USA opens for a Southeast Asian feature film.

More Than a Meal
Cook. Remember. Belong.
A hands-on Southeast Asian cooking & storytelling experience with Emily Lim of DaBao Singapore — James Beard Award semifinalist and Food Network alum. Together we cooked Hainanese Chicken Rice, Ngoh Hiang, and Kueh Bingka, then gathered around the table to share the meals that shaped us.
